Completed a gap year program that follows an experiential learning model. Moved to Paute, Ecuador, with a host family that only spoke Spanish, volunteered at a local high school, and attended Spanish classes weekly to supplement my immersion. The first student to enroll in Global Citizen Year through the Notre Dame Partnership.
